efficient space is honoured to share the little-heard recordings of three yolngu songmen from northeast arnhem land - bobby bunnungurr, jimmy djamunba and peter milaynga (d. 2007) - working in collaboration with victorian musician peter mumme. yolngu are the indigenous peoples of arnhem land in northern territory, australia, their clans are the marangu and malabirr, the languages djinang and gannalbingu. their songs are of instruction, story and ceremony.

the album is a collection of wonderful, emotional and very personal songs. written and performed by peter wangel, the lyrics are inspired by multi award winning, temporary norwegian writer karl ove knausgard and deal with very personal subjects from his own life. 2014 gewann ein unbekannter newcomer namens gold roger das vom splash mag ausgerichtete mot-rap-turnier mit links. obwohl er mit battlerap nichts am hut hat und so recht in keine deutschrapschublade passen will. die gold roger story begann vor gut 20 jahren in dortmund. mit der ersten stereoanlage bekommt er zwei cds: eko fresh und die �rzte. gold roger wird �rztefan, entdeckt die white stripes und skaten f�r sich. mit den ersten r�ucherst�bchen wird die lieblingsmusik langsamer und erste raps ausprobiert. als er 2010 kendrick lamar h�rt macht es klick: zum ersten mal wusste ich, wie ich gern rappen w�rde erinnert sich gold roger und fasst bald den entschluss es ernsthaft mit dem rapding zu probieren. nicht als karriereoption sondern als kunstform.

walking through the skyÉfive years ago christian naujoks, peter m. kersten and richard von der schulenburg started a series of spontaneous recording sessions without any intention or idea. the only thing what held the group together were the immediate results hitting the three musicians straight inside their hearts. jazz as a metaphor of instrumental conversation, improvisation in the most dillettant way, science as a matter of exploring the opposite sound of what instruments were built to, these might be parts of a concept where there was none.

scott mou, known as one half of the duo jane Ð the folk techno drone duo he had with panda bear - aswell as part of manhattans famous record store other music, debuts with his soloproject queens. johan jacobsen describes the wonderful music of queens in oxymorons, colorful monochrome, myopic depth, sad joy, driven slowness, enlightened darkness, universal intimacy, ethereal earthboundness ... as it should be. queens is one of those wonderful artists who are hard to catch on the fly, who escapes easy definition. his music is an unexpected and unimagined universe ready to be explored, and it s a universe that is wonderful to be in. when dial records david lieske and peter kersten listened to a performance of their new york based friend in 2009, it was one of those unforgettable unique experiences you only have once in a long while these days. the idea of releasing an album was born. the production of end times involved other labelmates such as phillip sollmann aka efdemin (recording), kassian troyer (mixing) and hendrik weber, who once joined a life performance on stage with scott mou in 2012.
